Scaring me...

This picture totally freaks me out! Isn't there a phobia out there for this, Dali? I don't like hanging around those plastic people at the mall, either.

Pediophobia. That is what it is by god! This phobia includes dolls as well, but my biggest phobia is automatonophobia- the fear of ventriloquist's dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statues - anything that falsly represents a sentient being.

For more neuroses check out www.phobialist.com... a personal favorite

I knew you'd love that pic. There was a movie years and years ago titled "Majic" (i think), and the ventriloquist's dummy came to life and was an evil killing machine. I remember watching it when I was about 5 years old. It scared me really bad.

You know those fake sentient beings must smell really bad, too.

Sentients don't bathe... I know that is true! I have spent part of my life as a sentient being... hahaha!

Majic - yes. I watched that when my mom and I were staying in my greatgrandmother's house after she died. We were cleaning out the house and packing things. That night my mom wanted me to sleep in bed with her, and I was in the bed across the room. So she kept saying that she heard the wooden clomp-clomp of the dumby's wodden feet on the hardwood floor.

The bitches!

There used to be a great show called "Mystery Science Theater 3000". They used to play old, weird, SciFi movies. One of their most popular movies was an old B&W about a ventriloquist's dummy that killed people...I guess he was like Chucky's granpa or something. Here's the link.
