Hells Yes!

I attended my first (and last) monster truck rally this weekend, in Knoxville. Oh mah gawd. I chose this picture because you can see the dude sitting in front of us, cheering on the truck. There was much laughter that day. I think they schedule these rallies during the winter as not to interefere with NASCAR season. Oh, the camaflouge abounds. Lots of grown men showing there support for Big Foot (yes, I actually saw that one, in person.) Even more grown men showing their non-dying love for Dale Earnhardt (R.I.P. #3)

What a day, indeed.

Oh yes, the monster truck crowd....the only group of people who consider Mossy Oak Haute Couture in line with Dolce and Gabana, Gucci, and Armani. I love the thought of grown men wearing camo in a sports arena. What do they hope to blend in to...maybe the guy next to them?

But what can I say? I like a good shot of whiskey and some Hank Williams Jr every now and then.

I was sooo disappointed when our bags weren't checked at the door. I could have taken my flask. The bitches.

Undoubtedly you were the only one without a flask on their person somewheres.

You are ONE BRAVE woman!!!

You need to take the critters to the "Monster Truck" ride at the Pigeon... truly to die for!

Couldn't you feel your IQ points dropping as you sat there? Remind me to tell you about the only time EB took me to a gun show... we were lucky to escape with our lives because of my mouth!

Anyway, sounds like it was an episode of "Mutual of Omaha"! Did Jim get his innards ripped out by the monster trucks? Now that's funny, I don't care who you are! And God bless the little pygmies in New Guinea!

I have always wanted to go to one of those things (in a tragic train wreck of humanity way). I am in awe that you had the courage. Did you take the lil' llama? Isn't she too young/innocent to see these things? Aren't we all (too innocent, although I like to pretend too young)(who am I kidding, the innocent is a pretense too)?

Yes, Lil' llama did attend. The whole event totally rocked in a "I can't believe we're actually doing this" kinda way. Jt you must go. I would suggest going to an event outside with mud, etc. No, I haven't been converted to red-neckism, but there was quality humor at every turn.
